Why we exist
India’s hiring market runs on trust that’s hard to verify. Employers want to confirm a candidate actually held a role, for how long, and whether they’d be rehired. Candidates want a fair process that doesn’t turn one manager’s opinion into a permanent, sellable label.
Most “background check” shortcuts get this balance wrong — they centralise sensitive identifiers, let anyone search a person by a government ID, or quietly attach subjective ratings that follow someone forever. That’s neither lawful nor fair.
HireCheck takes the opposite approach: nothing is verified, and nothing is shared, without the candidate’s explicit, scoped, time-bound consent. Reports confirm facts and carry attributed references — and they expire.

Every single check is authorised by the candidate first. No consent, no report — full stop.
Facts over verdicts
We verify objective facts and attribute every reference. We don’t manufacture an anonymous “hireability score”.
Transparency by default
Candidates can see what was requested, what was shared, and dispute anything inaccurate.
Minimal data
We avoid collecting sensitive national identifiers as lookup keys and encrypt what we must store.
Verified network
Only KYC-verified employers can request checks or attest to records.
Time-bound access
Reports are available to the requester for a limited window, then access closes.
